Having just posted about Vera's new Beverly Hills home, I was inspired to put together a snap shot of some of her most famous (and beautiful) works of art.
Each dress is so unique and clearly designed with the bride in mind, while showcasing Wang's diversity.
Ivanka Trump wore a Vera Wang gown inspired by Grace Kelly on her wedding day to Jared Kushner. The dress had three tiers of lace in different shades of ivory.
Hilary Duff wore a strapless Vera Wang mermaid-style dress at her Montecito wedding to Mike Comrie. The blush-colored silk tulle and organza dress was adorned with giant blossoms.
A pregnant Alicia Keys donned a Vera Wang ivory silk dress for her wedding to Swizz Beatz. The georgette-draped goddess gown had a jewel detail on the back shoulder.
Avril Lavigne married Deryck Whibley in a strapless tissue organza Vera Wang dress with a sweetheart neckline, wrapped bodice and appliqué lace beaded skirt. Lavigne changed into a second Vera Wang lace dress for the reception.
President Bill Clinton walked his daughter Chelsea Clinton down the aisle in a strapless Vera Wang wedding dress at her wedding to Marc Mezvinsky. The dress had a raw-edged laser cut swirling silk organza ball skirt and train. The diagonally draped bodice was made with silk tulle and accented by an embellished belt. For the reception, Chelsea changed into a silk tulle Grecian Vera Wang gown with a criss cross back and narrow grosgrain black belt.
Jennifer Lopez tied the knot with second hubby, choreographer Chris Judd in a long sleeve, lace dress with plunging neck-line.
Jessica Simpson wore Vera Wang's "Stephanie" on her wedding day to Nick Lachey. The dress has a sweetheart neckline and an A-line fit through the waist.
Kim Kardashian wore not 1 but 3 Vera Wang creations on her wedding day. The silk dress (middle) was worn during her reception, while the mermaid dress (right) was donned for the bride and grooms first waltz.
Khloe Kardashian chose Vera Wang's "Ethel" for her 2009 wedding to Lamar Odom. The mermaid style dress has a draped bodice and swirling tissue organza flanges on the skirt. A grosgrain sash at the waist completed the look.
